Pixort is available in two versions: free and commercial edition. The free version is based on Pixort v1.1 and can be used free of charge for non-commercial purposes. The commercial version is being actively developed, and contains new features for super-efficient photo culling.

Windows

Pixort is finished and released, but it is still being developed! You can choose between a stable release version or a newer (possibly unstable) development version.

Current release (commercial) version with 30 days evaluation period

The release version is a "finished" version and is intended for daily use.

Newest development version

The development version is a test version under development. You can use this if you want the latest and greatest version, but it may be unstable - particularly alpha versions. It will not overwrite your existing Pixort installation, but will be installed as "Pixort-DEVELOPMENT".

Note: only users with a valid licence key are able to use development versions. The development versions are time-limited to avoid errors caused by old development versions.

Other platforms

At the moment, only Microsoft Windows is supported. However, Pixort is written with platform independence in mind, and porting to other platforms should be relatively straightforward.

Other platforms may thus be supported in the future. A Mac OS X port is the most probable candidate for porting, as many photographers are using Macs. The biggest problem is that the Pixort developer doesn’t have a Mac at the moment :-)
